Cursed be the man that trusteth in man

耶17:5 耶和華如此說：“倚靠人血肉的膀臂，心中離棄耶和華的，那人有禍了！
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
耶17:6 因他必像沙漠的杜松，不見福樂來到，卻要住曠野幹旱之處，無人居住的鹼地。
For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
耶17:7 倚靠耶和華、以耶和華爲可靠的，那人有福了！
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
耶17:8 他必像樹栽于水旁，在河邊紮根，炎熱來到，並不懼怕，葉子仍必青翠，在幹旱之年毫無挂慮，而且結果不止。”
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
耶17:9 人心比萬物都詭詐，壞到極處，誰能識透呢？
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
耶17:10 “我耶和華是鑒察人心、試驗人肺腑的，要照各人所行的和他做事的結果報應他。”
I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
耶17:11 那不按正道得財的，好像鹧鸪抱不是自己下的蛋；到了中年，那財都必離開他，他終久成爲愚頑人。
As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
耶17:12 我們的聖所是榮耀的寶座，從太初安置在高處。
A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
耶17:13 耶和華以色列的盼望啊，凡離棄妳的必至蒙羞。耶和華說：“離開我的，他們的名字必寫在土裏，因爲他們離棄我這活水的泉源。”
O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
