賽14:1 耶和華要憐恤雅各，必再揀選以色列，將他們安置在本地，寄居的必與他們聯合，緊貼雅各家。
For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
賽14:2 外邦人必將他們帶回本土；以色列家必在耶和華的地上得外邦人爲仆婢，也要擄掠先前擄掠他們的，轄制先前欺壓他們的。
And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
賽14:3 當耶和華使妳脫離愁苦、煩惱並人勉強妳做的苦工，得享安息的日子，
And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
賽14:4 妳必題這詩歌論巴比倫王說：欺壓人的何竟息滅？強暴的何竟止息？
That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
賽14:5 耶和華折斷了惡人的杖、轄制人的圭，
The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
賽14:6 就是在忿怒中連連攻擊衆民的，在怒氣中轄制列國，行逼迫無人阻止的。
He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
賽14:7 現在全地得安息、享平靜，人皆發聲歡呼。
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
賽14:8 松樹和黎巴嫩的香柏樹都因妳歡樂說：“自從妳仆倒，再無人上來砍伐我們。”
Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.
賽14:9 妳下到陰間，陰間就因妳震動，來迎接妳。又因妳驚動在世曾爲首領的陰魂，並使那曾爲列國君王的，都離位站起，
Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
賽14:10 他們都要發言對妳說：“妳也變爲軟弱像我們壹樣嗎？妳也成了我們的樣子嗎？”
All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?
賽14:11 妳的威勢和妳琴瑟的聲音都下到陰間。妳下鋪的是蟲，上蓋的是蛆。
Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
賽14:12 明亮之星，早晨之子啊！妳何竟從天墜落？妳這攻敗列國的，何竟被砍倒在地上？
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
賽14:13 妳心裏曾說：“我要升到天上！我要高舉我的寶座在　神衆星以上；我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處；
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
賽14:14 我要升到高雲之上，我要與至上者同等。”
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
賽14:15 然而妳必墜落陰間，到坑中極深之處。
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
賽14:16 凡看見妳的，都要定睛看妳，留意看妳說：“使大地戰抖，使列國震動，
They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
賽14:17 使世界如同荒野，使城邑傾覆，不釋放被擄的人歸家，是這個人嗎？”
That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
賽14:18 列國的君王俱各在自己陰宅的榮耀中安睡。
All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
賽14:19 惟獨妳被抛棄，不得入妳的墳墓，好像可憎的枝子，以被殺的人爲衣，就是被刀刺透，墜落坑中石頭那裏的；妳又像被踐踏的屍首壹樣。
But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
賽14:20 妳不得與君王同葬，因爲妳敗壞妳的國，殺戮妳的民。惡人後裔的名，必永不提說。
Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
賽14:21 先人既有罪孽，就要預備殺戮他的子孫，免得他們興起來，得了遍地，在世上修滿城邑。
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
