Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart

太22:34 法利賽人聽見耶稣堵住了撒都該人的口，他們就聚集。
But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
太22:35 內中有壹個人是律法師，要試探耶稣，就問他說：
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
太22:36 “夫子，律法上的誡命，哪壹條是最大的呢？”
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
太22:37 耶稣對他說：“妳要盡心、盡性、盡意，愛主妳的　神。
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
太22:38 這是誡命中的第壹，且是最大的。
This is the first and great commandment.
太22:39 其次也相仿，就是要愛人如己。
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
太22:40 這兩條誡命是律法和先知壹切道理的總綱。”
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
