賽41:1 衆海島啊，當在我面前靜默；衆民當從新得力，都要近前來才可以說話，我們可以彼此辯論。
Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
賽41:2 “誰從東方興起壹人，憑公義召他來到腳前呢？耶和華將列國交給他，使他管轄君王；把他們如灰塵交與他的刀，如風吹的碎稭交與他的弓。
Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.
賽41:3 他追趕他們，走他所未走的道，坦然前行。
He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.
賽41:4 誰行做成就這事，從起初宣召曆代呢？就是我耶和華；我是首先的，也與末後的同在。”
Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.
賽41:5 海島看見就都害怕；地極也都戰兢，就近前來。
The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
賽41:6 他們各人幫助鄰舍，各人對弟兄說：“壯膽吧！”
They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
賽41:7 木匠勉勵銀匠，用錘打光的勉勵打砧的，論焊工說：“焊得好！”又用釘子釘穩，免得偶像動搖。
So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
賽41:8 “惟妳以色列我的仆人，雅各我所揀選的，我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔，
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
賽41:9 妳是我從地極所領（原文作“抓”）來的，從地角所召來的，且對妳說：‘妳是我的仆人’，我揀選妳，並不棄絕妳。
Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
賽41:10 妳不要害怕，因爲我與妳同在；不要驚惶，因爲我是妳的　神。我必堅固妳，我必幫助妳，我必用我公義的右手扶持妳。
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
賽41:11 凡向妳發怒的必都抱愧蒙羞；與妳相爭的必如無有，並要滅亡。
Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
賽41:12 與妳爭競的，妳要找他們也找不著；與妳爭戰的必如無有，成爲虛無。
Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
賽41:13 因爲我耶和華妳的　神必攙扶妳的右手，對妳說，不要害怕！我必幫助妳。
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
賽41:14 妳這蟲雅各和妳們以色列人，不要害怕！耶和華說，我必幫助妳。”
妳的救贖主就是以色列的聖者。 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
賽41:15 看哪，我已使妳成爲有快齒打糧的新器具；妳要把山嶺打得粉碎，使岡陵如同糠秕。
Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.
賽41:16 妳要把它簸揚，風要吹去，旋風要把它刮散。妳倒要以耶和華爲喜樂，以以色列的聖者爲誇耀。
Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.
賽41:17 困苦窮乏人尋求水卻沒有，他們因口渴，舌頭幹燥。我耶和華必應允他們；我以色列的　神必不離棄他們。
When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
賽41:18 我要在淨光的高處開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變爲水池，使幹地變爲湧泉。
I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
賽41:19 我要在曠野種上香柏樹、皂莢樹、番石榴樹和野橄榄樹；我在沙漠要把松樹、杉樹並黃楊樹壹同栽植；
I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:
賽41:20 好叫人看見、知道、思想、明白，這是耶和華的手所做的，是以色列的聖者所造的。”
That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
