Not a problem at all, me too like everybody, we are all learning. Especially for tonearms, there are so much to explore.

The VTA on the fly is extremely useful, as you would adjust the high of cartridge while listening with lots of flexibility. We only find such feature a few high end tonearm for example: Tri-planar

The ceramic bearing sounds like the tonearm is made to address the natal issue of vinyl improving the signal to noise ratio. There are so many fine thinking about these models.

Thales Simplicity tonearm





The Simplicity is the little brother of the original Thales tonearm. Its geometry is based on a newly created tetragon solution which reduces the tracking error to a maximum of 0.008°. It uses the same bearing technology as the Thales tonearm. Six jewels and four subminiature ball bearings make sure that the friction and clearance are within our state-of-the-art tolerances. The intrinsic frequencies of the two tonearm tubes are carefully tuned up in inharmonic proportions to even top the damping properties of any single-arm design.

The Simplicity comes with a special tool to make sure the installation is as precise as the manufacturing. The headshell can be taken apart easily for exact placing of the cartridge. The surfaces of the tubes are bronze anodised, using 0.1g of a specific salt per litre electrolyte. All side forces are balanced by two small magnets.

We are getting in the area of special tonearms.
The classic Garrard Zero 100 had been the very first model employing the design idea.
