i did put some sound deadening material found in mk in my car before, they did NOT work at all. i also tried something from a coach builder, it didn't work neither.
the coach builder told me i need something very very heavy and more like a sandwich (hard and soft and hard and soft.....) to block the noise from engine, exhaust and tyre
i used to be a diy man. i had that system for a few years, before that i also had 3 kenwoods driving (1) front, (2) rear and (3) subwoofer (bridged). But now i only have one sub with a simple stereo in the 7-seater, the other cars i only have simple stereos and not too bad speakers.
