我都係果句: 撇除個local brand, 純"睇"功能, design, 外觀, 用料, USD4000 我覺得可以接受.

我地成日係"名牌"有料到, 有信心 vs "大牌子"又一呃錢之作, 有名冇聲之間迷思, 對local, 冷門牌子又何賞唔係一樣

List price is just below HK$30K

and add $4K for FE feet...

from the inside photo, it seems it doesn't has any major power treatment, so it requires very stable and clean electricity too

冷門野，我係狂熱份子，呢七八年玩既好多冷門野，有平有贵，訉源，前級後級，到喇叭，電線接線，乜都有，有d而家算二三線牌子，有d連講都無人識，蝕死

I do agree 100% and looking forward to your report.
My only concern is how does it sound with another DAC as this will be the way I want and I did e-mail this to Lumin and the reply is they do not have model without built in DAC but they do provide power supply to be used in USA.

As it has a digital out, you could use it as a DS transport to any other DAC you prefer. Again, it is not all the DAC can support BNC/SPDIF and DSD.....

I guarantee it can't KO klimax ds1, in the end it will be 以價論聲......。actually i think this is magictv's design objective.

From their specification, DSD digital out is only available via HDMI not BNC

Don't know how many DAC supports DSD and with HDMI in

Thanks for the heads up.
DSD is not my concern at this point as I do not know how to rip SACD besides using PS3.
My DAC, Jeff Rowland Aeris will only accept BNC digital in, this should work but I just do not know if it will sound great but I hope this will sound better than their built in DAC, right ?
May I know if you have done any audition on this ?

Personally I like it very much. I highly recommend to have listen yourself.

The app provided have very good GUI But I would say the library management can further improve. Hope there will future update.

I used the built in DAC from this unit. It is very good sound to me. It seems the design of the toy is not for people using other DAC as it just have 1 output and without DSD......

I connect to integrated amp. www.luminmusic.com said that it has volume control digitally but I will think it is not good for sound quality.
