Thiel是一家具有將近40年歷史的專業喇叭設計製造廠商，在台灣也有一定的知名度。過去的設計師Jim Thiel所設計的鋁製雕花單體讓人印象深刻，雖然這特殊的單體在2009年隨著他的辭世可能將成絕響，不過Thiel的團隊並沒有因此停下腳步，在去年底推出了最新的系列3rd Avenue，內容包含了落地喇叭TT1、書架喇叭TM3以及中置喇叭TC1。

照片中兩側便是Thiel TT1落地喇叭，中間為中置喇叭TC1，現場搭配的系統為Unison Research最新的CD唱盤Unico CD Due以及綜合擴大機Unico 150。

Soundwise suck compared to the old Thiel 7.2 or 6 or even the older 5.

Lost the signature sound lost the soul just a piece of good-looking ordinary sounding device!

One more point, the new TT1 now sounds like an ordinary Mission...

Lacking any traces of the sonic sig. of any Thiel we heard of...

Sorry won't pay a cent for this whatever brand!   And miss J. Thiel the gentleman who dedicated his last breath to produce the best FIRST ORDER loudspeakers!
