Accuphase DAC-40

Hi all,

Quite happy to have the result of this DAC-40. I'm using Accuphase E-470 and ProAc Response DB1. My CD player is Onkyo C-N7050, even cheap, but it's quite good for this price range! (http://www.whathifi.com/onkyo/c-n7050/review).

Today, I bought a DAC-40 option board (2 BB PCM1796 DAC)  and plug into my amp and replace my CDP's DAC part, use the audioquest coxial cable to connect.....quite surprise the sound is improved quite a lot(may be 20-30%) . The vocal is more 3D, bigger soundstage, dynamic and fine detail. I think after run in, it will be give you a more smooth sound.

I'm quite happy with it and now I can live with my CDP for a longer time....haha..... save more $$ to buy a good CDP later!!!
