十年前用過10.5, 賣咗好耐啦! 初期10.5擺明抄Breuer Type 8. 唔比由自可，一比較你就明白 Brinkmann 居然只係抄 Breuer 缺點而非優點！ 不過家陣應該改良咗好多啦！

it's been a while as I had already moved to Los Angeles from New York and give me a chance to upgrade my analogue gear from Clear Audio to either Brinkmann or Transrotor, not decided yet.

Fred CHing - I have a Balance Anniversary with the 12.1 arm for 2 years before passing it on to my sister.  I would consider it a good quality table versus alternatives in the same price range.  Quality of metal work is top notch but its a question of individual taste whether the RONT power supply is THAT good and whether you can stand the additional mess of needing 2 PCs for the RONT and the heating of the bearing oil.  If the HRS Platform was an optional item in your purchase, my sincere recommendation is to see if the shop would let you hear the Balance with and without the HRS.  In my case the HRS M3 neutralized better resonance control from the rack and made the sound seemed "dry" and "bright".   One other item worth experimenting with on the Balance is platter mat.  The glass surface used is not to everyone's taste and according to some, using Acoustical System's coupler elevates the Balance to the level of performance of the very best turntables.

Thanks. Only the analogue gear I am planning to upgrade and will leave the digital gear intact for the time being.

I am still trying to compare Brinkmann with Transrotor, it will take some time.
