今日行過紅磡，衰多手拎咗啲嘢返屋企。
都係多得呢個毒網令我好想知道Madison係唔係直係咁得！見咁多人用，我又試下先！
So, what's Madison Audio Lab?
From Matthew Bond (TARA Labs Designer and Designer for Madison Audio Lab.)
I created both of these audio interconnects and I know them very well ... they are both very good products.
Which one is better? This really depends on your audio system and your listening preferences.
Some cable construction information will be helpful for you to make the comparison more relevant.
The Madison E3 Extreme 1 uses a Teflon tube at the center, and uses a simple finished construction.
The TARA Labs 'The One' Interconnect uses a cotton core in the center of the cable, but a more complex construction.
So, the Madison E3 Extreme 1 Interconnect reveals more high frequency information.
This means you will hear more fine high-frequency details and more low-level ambient information from the Madison Interconnect.
The TARA Labs Interconnect will sound smooth, and more "Yin" (soft, slow) in terms of high frequency information.
In some systems the TARA Labs interconnect will have more weight in the sound.
More Yin or more Yang?
The Madison Interconnect is more neutral and revealing (Yang) ... better in terms of 'attack, sustain and decay'...
it is more dynamic and has a sweeter sounding upper mid-range, with extended coherent high frequencies.
The TARA Labs Interconnect is more smooth and softer sounding (Yin) ...
the sound does not have the dynamic contrasts as compared to the Madison Interconnect,
but it is very well balanced and over the years, it has continued to be improved.
My First Impression
Compare to my existing Kimber KS-9033
First Three Hours of Use - 好似Mr Matthew Bond所講, The One is "Yin" (陰) vs Madison is "Yang" (陽). 力水唔錯, 高音光亮, 但有少少沙石, 始終都係全新線. 比多300 hours should be better. 中音無Kimber密度咁高. 低音量感反應都可以. Soundstage都幾大. 以價論貨, 可以收貨 ! |
