Hi, according to westdoor, it will absorb noise from your power bar and than when the capacitor is fully charged, it will release energy slowly back to your power line.  It serve 2 functions.

My first impression after plugging this 金油條 into the system is that you can hear less noise instantly, and the sound is smoother too.  It is very posion.... heee

HiHi, there are 2 components to this.  1st one is the capacitor.  The one I got is Jensen, model is called "copper flow 0.4" something like that.  The 2nd component is the male IEC plug.  The one i am using is Furutech FI-28.  The price will vary a lot depends on the materials used.  You can give poison west a call and he will advise u what is most suitable for ur setup.

HiHi, I have plasma TV only, but the result is also very positive!  The color is more film like and saturated.  I am using 2 金油條 now, 1 for each power bar.
