Only have time to listened to couple of songs only.... still need to go to work tomorrow.

Initial feeling after using:
Clarity +20%  (So much more "Hidden" sound can be heard instantly from my old CDs!  Very nice.   )
Musical feel -10% (too sharp, cannot hear for too long.  Hopefully, it will get better after run-in )

It is not expensive stuff, but so far seems good C/P ratio.

Will have more report after run-in.  Cheers!

第一刀, wow, it is us$5.66 vs $us$79 and you said the cheaper is better.  I believe the amazonbasics is not glass fibre as compare to silflex.   I really hope you are right.

I was try it on LINN Majki DS,  is too clear or too sharp.  finally,  I select SAEC X1 for my LINN use

To proof 刀兄's 理論,  I borrowed another "non-metal" head brand name (VDH) optical cable to test against the Lifatec Silflex "metal head" on my cheap setup.

For clarity, definately Lifatec Silfex can hear more stuff than VDH instantly.
For musical feel.  Both are very similar (i.e. both are too sharp, cannot hear for too long.)

In conclusion after real test instead of "理論", my cheap setup works better with Lifatec Silflex.

C-Hing, if you are looking for "TRUE" sound, you should build your own concert hall and hire the real singer to sing in front of you exclusively LIVE.  You no need to waste $ to buy your soundcard, coz it is not the actual "TRUE/ REAL" singer.  Than, all your HI-FI theory can be put to a rest.  

I am just sharing what what i can hear with "real" test cases, and I am happy of what I am hearing.  Your theory is just theory only, without anything to support it.

I have no intention to start a fight with you in this nice forum.  This is the last reply you will see from me on your "theory".   Bye!
