CD /SACD player choice

i
I currently have a set of dcs vivald set ( Upsampler , Dac and Clock) . I would like to add back CD player on my system. I check the price of DCS vivald transport, but i observe that its price is increased so much ( over HKD200K).  i know DCS vivald transport is the best match to my current system. But i would like to know whether the following player is also a good choice. I only have few SACD ( around 10 pcs) . i  mainly play CD and connect it to my DCS vivald upsampler to use its DCS DAC and upsampler

1) Esoteric K-01XD
2) Esoteric K-03XD
3) Esoteric K-05XD
4) Chord BLU mK2
5) Nagra CDT

If mainly use it as transport, Whether any big difference between K-01XD, 03XD and 05XD ? Does K-05XD is good enough ?

Too hard to say. No matter how good are they , you will feel something missing.

I think I have had a similar question as you in the past.  While I am extremely satisfied with my Nagra HD DAC X, I was also looking for a reasonable CD transport that would not let down the performance of my Nagra Dac.

I have not tried the K-01XD or lower series as a CD transport, but I can honestly say that I am very happy with my CD listening experience using the Grandioso K1 as a transport.  I have also added a Mutec Ref 10 clock and that makes a huge difference to the overall sound quality.  Would the K1X or K-01XD be better?  Unfortunately I do not have the answer, but as a CD player itself, I recall from my experience that K1 was significantly superior to K-01Xs or K-01X in the past, and it wasn't close.

Before I upgraded to K1, I was using the T+A PDP 3000 HV CD/SACD.  And I can hear a noticeable difference after the upgrade.

主要問題係你的訊源主力是聽CD, 或是黑膠？

點解我咁問？ 因為以你用緊既四季， 如主力是Cd的話， 我估你不會考慮直入佢既SACDT.

但睇番你個LIST, 當中有D明顯係低Grade好多。

題外話， NAGRA CDT已經discon. 你已經買唔到全新既NAGRA CDT啦。

當然文豪既kalista， CEC TLOX 都係一蠃好好既CDT. 你也可以考慮

Although DCS set, i also have a set of Vinyl player . they are transrotor rondino turntable +reed 3p +  My Sonic Lab Signature Platinum . but it is not a main source . I only would like to add back a cd player .....

可以考慮二手CH Precision D 1.1 Transport, 二手舖搵下或者出post 徵求，最新firmware 已經可以經將普通CD經任何數碼output 升頻88.2khz, （不過唔知DCS是否支援單AES輸入可以解讀88.2khz)另外單層SACD亦可經任何數碼輸出down scale 去44.1khz, 將來搵到X1 external power supply, 又係另外一個升級

CH precision D1.1 都是一個選擇... DCS single AES can support 44.1 to 192K. Dual AES can support 44.1 to 384 K ... Just check some website ,a  2nd hand CH precision D1.1 with clock card is around HKD160K. a little bit lower than esoteric K1X

I prefer the transport or CD player with 10M clock input. i already had  Mutec 10Ｍ clock worked with DCS

If you're not in a hurry, playing CDs is not a top priority, and don't mind getting a used CD transport, wait till a K1 shows up in the second hand market.  It's good value for money, and one day, if you want to sell it off, it won't be hard as Esoteric holds value really well in HK.

Forget about the K05XD, K03XD, etc...  My T+A CD player was on par with K01Xs back in the days and when I upgraded from my T+A to K1 it was a noticeable improvement, especially with the Mutec clock inserted.

我唔係話K03, K05唔好，只不過都要門當戶對。用到 dCS Vivaldi，有乜可能搵部普通二嫂做 transport？
