So why a new version of the VEGA? This is a further evolution of a long-running design.

In what Auralic calls its "Fusion" DAC, the PLL, digital filter and ovrsampling functions of the ESS DAC are bypassed in favour of its own DSP-driven solutions.

to be setup and controlled from a clean, easily-understood app interface.
