its all base on different av system ,onkyo integra rda 7.1 150w was very powerful type when i tried , sound 's dry but very powerful reaction .it's usual japanese sound charactor , lexicon lx7 sounds more 秀麗 n 精細 , but power not that enough as it mention 200w ,i test in my home pushing theil cs2.2 was not enough , i did compare to 200w anthem mca 3 ,they both not enough to push thiel .but lexicon seems even lower output, lx7 was fine once i bridged 2 channel into 1 channel to push front . lexicon have a charactor that sounds more like beautiful monitor sound ,i will describe the sound field was quite flag . not too much front or far distance.but sound quality was great .
onkyo integra rda7.1 spec
Power Output
Front L/R
(8 W, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, FTC)
150 W + 150 W (0.1% THD)
(4 W, 1 kHz, FTC)
300 W/ch (0.1% THD)
as i mention integra was powerful because its can double out 150w at 8 ohm , 300w at 4 ohm . anthem mca5 's all channel driven spec: 170w at 8 ohm ,250w at 4ohm and 320 at 2ohm,thats a big different when u pushing 4ohm speaker or to 2 ohm ,and also even 8ohm speaker will go down to 4 ohm . i guess thats why i feel integra 's power was so impressive.i can 't find any imformation about 4 ohm or 2 ohm for lexicon lx7,but i guess it will be even lower . |
