[喇叭] KS Audio Speakers Land on Hong Kong

People in Hong Kong may not be familiar with KS Audio, but many may know Backes & Muller.
B&M is the audiophile line of KS and there are also other lines
KS Digital is the professional studio line
KS Audio is the PA line
KSD is the newest domestic line.
KS is a pioneer in active speakers and only produce active speakers, all hand built in Germany. In Germany, KS represents the very top end brand, many famous studio and theater use their products. Here's a brief introduction to it's history:

If search on German Audio ranking, JBL Project Everest DD66000comes first with a score of 108, Backes & Muller BM35 comes second with 107, then KEF Blade at 105, B&W 800 Diamond, Canton Reference 1.2 DC and Revel Ultimate Salon all at 104.....

Note that Backes & Muller still have a flagship model BM50,which is better than BM35 above

An interesting comment on BM35 is when comparing with Focal Grand Utopia on listening to a CD, it says "....Focal outlined the positions of the 400 musicians only, ask B&M each in its proper place...."

The smallest studio listening device in our monitoring program

The Coax C5 Tiny was designed and optimised for use in a genuine acoustic near field. With the use of a coax driver which was especially developed for the C5 Tiny in a cooperation with a German manufacturer, the speaker works like a genuine point sound source. Without horizontal or vertical axial misalignment, an optimum pulse, frequency and phase characteristic can therefore be achieved at the listening position. In using high quality materials like carbon fibre in the cone or neodyn magnets in the tweeter, it can achieve an extraordinarily exact reproduction of sound or speech for a speaker of its size. The powerful output stage each with 150W power output and a frequency response of up to 100KHz ensures that the electrical signal is converted directly into sound power. An optional stand supports the speaker and facilitates its alignment with the listening area. Either as a high-quality primary field speaker at an audio or video cutting desk or as a bridge monitor on a mixer console – the C5 Tiny is the tool of choice. Quickly installed and easily transported, its exact reproduction makes it a very reliable and neutral primary field monitor with plenty of power reserves even for the most difficult of acoustic surroundings. To extend the frequency ranges into the very deep regions, we offer of course, perfectly matched sub-woofers such as
the ADM B3.

Digital Active Reference Studio Monitor

The ADM 20 represents a complete revision of the highly successful ADM2, the first digitally equalized speaker worldwide, dar. course remains neutral in the estimated transmission response and the legendary linear frequency and phase response received. The specially developed, special FIRTEC filtering technology now at the Patent Office in Munich only, allows us a correction in the time course of the radiated sound. This means both a linearization in amplitude including the phase-frequency response.

In addition, greater accuracy is due to higher internal sample rates, combined with a whole series of parameters that the user made freely available, are configured differently. These include three parametric peak filter for accurate speaker positions, low and Highshelfings, delay, phase and mono test functions. The FIRTEC filtering takes into consideration not only the Unzulänglichkeitenn the driver, but takes into account the entire system including monitor housing, amplifiers, etc. The analog input signal with a 27 bit ADC (gain staging technique) changed. The AES3 digital input operates with up to 32 directly to the 32-bit floating point DSP with the FIRTECTMFilter, digital, linear phase difference soft and the overload protection of the driver. An optional remote control allows hardware or software then the rules of the level to the desired listening level or setting of the peak filter to reduce the space Modena language or any other variables. The connection to the remote PC can be done depending on the setting via wireless LAN.
