LX 55 video and audio not sync

Hi all,

Just got the 55 but after testing a few discs, there is a slight delay in video and the audio pears faster.

My connection is the hdmi feed video to the tv direct and the audio thru optical to my stereo DAC (I don't use an AC amp).  Any c hings experience the same problem? Is there a setting I can fix that?

I have the same problem!  You can defult the setting, it will fix the problem for a period of time!

Thanks. So I have to redo the setting each time as well after default?

I think I might fix it.
Pls check under hdmi setting, is control on or off.

what is different between control on and off?

I read the manual and it should be off.  The manual said this may be the cause of the problem.

It is for controlling another equipment thru the hdmi connection and that may cause delay.

Rocky hing, have you checked your settings?  Btw, how is your connection?

ching, may i know you are using what AMP? it is Pioneer LX85?

if yes, when turn on PQLS got problem or not?

I am using a naim stereo amp.

The problem can't be fixed. Even I use RCA as output.
