TOTALDAC receives good overseas reviews but the prices are not cheap. The A1 & D1 are nearly HK$40k & $70k respectively!

花4萬或7萬去郵購一部在本地没有代理的歐州小廠的dac, 風險不小呢
另外，師兄你是否常换機之士呢? 將來换機時找買家和二手價都會是難題呀.

哈哈, 部D1如果係 < HK 40K, 就會搏一搏. 希望有機會再到法蘭西, 可以試試部機.

小弟今年在廣州聽過幾set MSB, 我估其中一set應該是較高級model, 聽完一直念念不忘, 超越了自己平時對cdp所認識的動態和密度

不會比英國名机用雙重穩壓版好.

CAS要跟CD機比較就買帶DAC的名牌機﹐你會發現CAS跟CD機的音質沒有分別

The first post of this thread is in Jan 2012.
During the past 10 months, Totaldac receives a lot of rave reviews and there are even fans across the ocean in USA.
Totaldac is R2R type of DAC, similar to MSB. Some say that it's better than similarly priced MSB because Totaldac is making less profit than MSB.

Logically thinking, that is true. Totaldac should be 70% of price of MSB. But talking about sound quality is very subjective.
