Hi,

I am new to this forum.  Sorry very slow in tying Chinese.

now I have the following 5.1 equipment :

- Denon AV amp 2808
- Front Speakers NHT ST-4
- Central Speaker NHT V Large
- Surround Speaker KEF 3005 (0val shape ones)

I will move the new house and want to install 7.1 systems and 3D projector system.  I would like to have some advise :

-        Want to change AV amp Onkyo 809.  Any other suggestion around $10,000?
-        Will add two more speaker for 7.1 system?  Should I use the existing KEF speaker as surround or back speaker?  Any suggestion for the extra two speaker to match with my equipment?  Budget 3-4k.
-        From the layout, the sofa is close to the back wall.  How should I position the back speaker?  At two corner or closer to the middle?  How far should I position the surround speaker from the back wall?

梳化貼牆玩5.1比較好，而後置我建議用埋NHT會好D，2809轉809係改口味，並唔算升級架！

what is front height?

My current set up is very bad due to the dimension of the living room.  I can only put the front speakers beside the 46" LED TV and the distance between the two front speakers is only about 1.3 meter.  I really can't feel the 5.1 surround effect.  As I want to keep the exisiting speakers, I would like to see if 7.1 system with two additional speakers will help.

I am also worrying about the effect of the 7.1 system if my sofa is against the back wall.  then my choices are :

- keep exisiting speakers for 5.1 system
- buy two more speakers for 7.1 system - then any suggestions on rear speakers and how should the speakers positioning be?
- replace the two rear speakers with new ones for 5.1 system - then any ideas of the speakers?

I change AV amp mainly because I need one to support 3D video.  I am okay with Denon, but it seems Onkyo 809 has quite good feedback at that price range.  

Any suggestion other than 809?

依家好多新出的AV amp都有呢樣嘢啦! 即係在原本左右前置喇叭的上面或更左右再加上一對喇叭，即前面變成了有5隻喇叭，有Front Height或Front Wide選擇，個人覺得front height唔錯，因為聲音除了前去後、左去右呢D橫向移动外，front height加多了由上去下，整個聲場無論包圍感及立体感都好好多!

其實NHT 係一對唔易推既SPEAKER...我覺得同LEVEL AMP 換黎換去其實冇乜意思..不如加部POWER AMP 好過LA...

試下anthem 300 或 500 啦!

Some shops said 3009 is not avaiable anymore.  Is that true?

I never play with any 後級.  Any suggestion for 2手後級 matching with 809?

yeah sure, just make sure there are no sharp bend, and your HDMI cable is flexible enough to go through conduit of large enough size.

我又冇聽過停產喎!

入門後級可以試下adcom同rotel, 一般二手都係3-4k 倒, 可以一試!
