Google 推出全 3D 版 Google Earth．將為 Android 加入離線地圖

雖然有指 Apple 會在 WWDC 2012 上宣佈以自家的 C3 地圖取代自初代 iPhone 已經內置於機內的 Gogole Maps。不過這亦當然無阻 Google 繼續創新並強化旗下的地圖功能，而且今次還將最矚目的離線地圖留給 Android。
而在美國時間 6 月 6 日舉行的發佈會上，Google 一共宣佈了三項「大事」，分別為：Android 的離線 Google Maps 功能、全 3D 版 Google Earth、以及全新的 Street View 背包。

手機用家最關心的，當然就是 Android 版的離線 Google Maps，跟據 Google 的示範，只需耍在 Google Maps 上劃出所需的範圍，Google Maps 就會列出所需的數據量，然後就可以直接下載該區的圖資，待日後前往該處時使用，另外離線模式下也支援 GPS 衛星定位及電子指南針等功能，只是 Turn by Turn 導航功能無法使用而已。至於離線版 Google Maps 的推出日期，Google 就僅透露「即將推出」。
