Phasemation / PhaseTech 為慶祝自 P-1 至今十周年紀念，推出全新旗艦級唱頭 PP-1000 MC動圈唱頭，包括全新磁力動圈設計，令拾取訊號輸出時，可大幅提升傳輸度，同時不會擴大其它諧震使音質劣化。唱頭殼以鋁合金為主材料，以DLC (Diamond Like Carbon)作塗層，除可加強唱頭殼堅硬度外，更有效抑制諧震及抵禦外來干擾。PP-1000輸出電壓為0.27mV阻抗4Ω，而針壓在1.7至2.0g調校範圍內，唱頭重量14.3g。

Phasemation has started from cartridge development as an original point. The fruits researched and know-how accumulated since P1 release 10 years ago have been compiled; thereby we have realized the middle/treble sounds with the extremely fresh sound quality and rich bass sounds which are woven to the perfect harmony. Here, we will release the flagship MC cartridge PP-1000 of new brand “Phasemation”, as a new product different from conventional cartridge series.
Redesigning the magnetic circuit
The magnetic circuit of P-1G has been reconsidered in full scale; as a result, the shapes of front yoke and pole piece have been redesigned. Therefore, the shapes well suited for efficiency and magnetic uniformity have been successfully realized. It has been realized that the output is increased without increasing the mass of vibration section.
Redesigning the body structure
The material of P-1 body has been reconsidered from the beginning in order to get the best balance of sound quality. The materials of base and body have been respectively changed to stainless material and duralumin. Furthermore, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) *1) coating is conducted; thereby, the sound quality being well suited for the rigidity and vibration-damping properties and being also suitable to be a flagship has been realized.

DLC（Diamond Like Carbon）is a generic name of carbon film to be produced with vapor phase synthesis utilizing ion processing; and the high rigidity and high electric insulation similar to a diamond are provided for it.
Inheriting the high quality materials for audio sound
High quality materials for audio sound verified in P-1G and other models are inherited; and they are well-acknowledged until now for the following parts:
Cantilever made of pure boron material,
Magneto coil, pure iron coil, bobbin and wire damper made of 6N oxygen-free copper wire, and others.
