Entry Level Turntable recommendation

Sold all of my Naim gears and replanning.

Will give up CD and use CAS as my primary source.

Planning to get an entry level LP system just for fun.  Budget is around 10k including turntable, tone arm and cartridge.

Amp will be McIntosh C50 + 275.
speaker is Sonus Guaneri.

The C50 has built in phono.

Any recommendation?

I am using pro-ject 2xperience + audio techinca's cartridge!  Quite good in my case!

If no experience with LP at all, it would be better to get an entry level turntable that come with cartridge (e.g. Pro-Ject Debut III turntable with Ortofon OM 5 cartridge). Just plug and play. That's what I did 2 years ago. Then, going on to upgrade path, of course...... Now using SME IV arm and Ortofon 2M Black cartridge

I bought the gear in MK and the sale is so kind and he help me fix the turntable and set up the cartridge as well...so just bring it home, plug and play...

Not very experienced on CAS and just playing for a year.  Now using a QNAP NAS with Mac Mini (iTunes and PureMusic), through M2Tech Hiface to connect to the DAC.

Reasons behind is I can use my iPad as the main control and with PureMusic, the performance is acceptable.

thanks willip hing, I do have similar CAS set up. Mac mini (iTunes only) with a USB interface connect to a DAC. Quite good to me so far but it still have some distance vs CDP. That is why I still look for some enhancement solution before give up CD.

cvincent hing, you may look at iTunes add on software (in my case Pure Music, cost around $1k) and I heard there is another one at $400.

The difference is night and day.

Now narrow down to 3 brands: Rega, Pro-ject and Clear Audio.

Can be either first hand or 2nd hand and any price info other C hing can share?  My target is whole set up less than 10k (no need phono for now)

Went to hifi show yesterday.

My mind is set on Clearaudio Emotion but maybe over my budget.

Any other good models from Pro-Jet?

IMHO, if possible, get VPI Classic or Clearaudio Concept as entry vinyl system is a good choice.

Will quite sure go for ClearAudio and checked that both Concept and Emotion should within my budget.  Wondering if Emotion is hard to setup.  Any suggestion?

For entry level, try to get Clearaudio Concept + Goldring Elite.  Very easy to setup, just plug and play.
