Please note that AVPS is a counterfeit version of old PurePower models. We have legal action against them in the US courts to put a stop to their illegal counterfeit activities and already have US court injunctions against our former salesman Bob Rapoport who started this unfortunate situation.
Excel is an excellent company to buy from. Rex Ma is a very knowledgeable person in all areas of high-end Hi-Fi as I learned on my visits to Hong Kong.
The newest PurePower line is the PurePower Plus models 1500, 2000, and 3000. More power, smaller footprint, lighter, and better voltage accuracy (+/- 1%)

Just bought my Pure Power from Excel as I am convinced by its power regeneration theory. Found it much better than my previous far more expensive power conditioners. I used it for my CDP, preamp and BDP & AV amp. For power amp I plug straight to the wall as I think my Gryphon Antileon Sig. is too current demanding for it. I bought it mainly for my 2 channel which is my main stream, but a surprise benefit is the markedly improved picture clarity and fineness with my Pioneer LX83 AV amp. One concern is I dont know how many hours/years the battery can last before having to change it.
I use it for CD player, DAC, integrated amplifier and TV. For video, the contrast is much better and the picture has less blinking. For audio, the bass is deeper and tighter.
I heard that Excel has not received any new PurePower Plus series yet!
It's because the PurePower factory in Ontario is totally new.
Due to capital needed, manpower constraints...etc, the production cannot cope with the demand.
Most of the Plus series have gone to North American dealers only.
