you can use the free software HCFR and learn the calibration steps via places like:

Here and here.  You need to find driver for your Spyder 3 to work with HCFR though but that should not be an issue.

You can also purchase calibration software package like Chromapure or Calman, however you still need the basic understand of the steps, terminology and techniques involved.  

I am not sure what software came with your Spyder 3, you can check with Datacolor to see what is available for purchase or download for TV/Projector calibration.

Last but not least you can of course seek experts on this forum to show you, good luck.
