Downgrade? 3D to 2D, Samsung to Sony

Give away my Samsung BD-E6500 to my brother, have to use my old/cheap/free Sony BDP-S360 for now. Sony is very slow to load any kind of disc

But this is the excuse to buy the Oppo 103 next month.

103 should be out October, 105 should be out December. If 103 is good I will also buy 105.

3D to 2D is definitely not a downgrade to me, just look at how many people dislike 3D and 3D is no longer advertised as the must have, to me manufacturers always need something to sell or tie them to the next big thing, which no doubt is 4K right now.  A slow BDP is not necessary a bad player either, but of course that would be a perfect reason for an 'upgrade' :)

You are right, I never use 3D function even I have the glasss, player and movies. The market always need something new to make you buy. Oppo 103 should be a pretty good replacement. I almost bought 93 last month.
