Current model, appears to be released late last year or early 2012.  

I don't believe you can buy a bad projector nowadays since the market is very competitive and not a big one.  However, whether it is of good value to you is probably a question.

Unfortunately I have  rainbow eyes, those RGB lines are easily seen interval, therefore, DLP cannot be my choice. For those model below 20K, it seems to me that it is a good choice. As I do not have much time to do a reserach out in the market, therefore, I need some of the experience chings here to share their experience, if there is any other choice I could have choosen in between.

Consider Panasonic AE7000 if you can find one new in a box, should be close to your budget, or a used one, or wait a few more months until JVC X35 comes out and get a used X30, probably needs some bargaining.

AE7000 seems to be aanother good choice .Any chings know where  to buy a new one.

You should still can find a brand new hong AE7000 below $20k, but should be quick !

TW6000 seems dun have lens shift, it will be quite difficult to set up !

Do they function the same as lenshift?

Don't touch keystone it will introduce barrel distortion amongst other things, it will affect video quality.

Hey sharing is fun and free.

Keystone is fine if you re using it for document presentation and your projector is not in an optimum position or not aligned to the screen, but for high quality video projection you want everything to be as perfect as possible and every last ounce of the original data.
