Speaker Issue : wilson benesch Orator

Dear all ,

My setup serve me for more than 10 years. Recently, the speaker is failure and the MV55 is also failure.

I listen female voice / Piano / Violin. I think MV55 can be repair. I am thinking to upgrade the speaker.

Dealer suggests to upgrade to Vector. Aprts from the price, I also afraid my setup is not able to drive Vector. Anyone have any experience in Vector.  I also want to simplify my setup by using an Integrated amp.  Any suggestion are welcomed !

師兄您好，大家都是Orator用家，Vector相信比Discovery易推，但都要高質嘅合併Amp推至獲得好效果，石機約2百瓦、膽機約1百我諗會好啲！但Vector全新價都好貴吓喎，師兄有好價請PM小弟。謝謝！

Thanks Simon, You are right. The price of vector is higher than expected. I am also consider other UK speaker as alternative such as Harbeth 30.1.  However, I am too busy to try ...   Hope have more time to explore more during the christmas ....

Seems you are looking at AMR AM-77. May I know the estimated price of that amp ?
