Lavardin IT-15 from France, the flagship version of its popular IT integrated amp featuring its “memory distortion” free design which in a layman’s explanation is less power loss and distortion, with some 47W*2 it could work well with Harbeth as well as Sonus Faber.

What the Singaporean says:
The Lavardin IT-15 is a solid-state amplifier that has the good sonic qualities of the best tube amplification around, without the tubes. Lavardin’s elimination of “memory distortion” effects in components coupled with its latest technology of optimizing components even further has produced a truly remarkable musical amplifier. Wonderfully transparent without sacrificing musicality, a natural sound.
It has been introduced to HK but only with lukewarm response. Listened to the standard version IT which sounds like tube amp. Now there is no dealer in HK but easily get it from overseas with a price of some HK$90,000. However at this price level many will probably go for say Dartzeel CTH-8550. Personally also thought that at this price level the function of the IT and IT-15 seems to be a bit too fundamental such as without remote control.
