Cary Audio of early Single-Ended Triode amp fame was showing their new DAC-100t and DMC-600 Digital Music Server. The DMC-600 Digital Music Server ($4,995) includes a CD/HDCD drive, and a number of digital inputs including USB (supports up to 32/384 and up to 128x DSD), 2 Coax, 1 Toslink, and 1 AES input (supports up to 384kHz). Outputs include Coax, Toslink, and variable out RCA and XLR pairs. There's also Blutooth AptX lossless wireless input so you can stream to the DMC-600 from any Blutooth-enabled device (like your phone) and a user selectable vacuum tube or solid state output stage. The DMC-600 Digital Music Server should be available April/May 2013.

The DAC-100 comes in two flavors—the regular DAC-100 ($2,500) and the DAC-100t ($2,995) that adds a tubed output stage. Both DACs incorporate Gordon Rankin's Sreamlength code for their XMOS-based Asynchronous USB inputs. There are also 2 Coax S/PDIF and 2 Toslink inputs, and RCA and XLR outputs all capable of handling 24/192 data.
