Tried on electrical appliances but not on hi-fi equipment. Took 7 days. But I think different shops and products have different delivery time. If you tell your hotel in advance that someone will send goods to you, the international chains are likely able to hold them for you until you arrive. Some local hotels may not do it for you if you have not confirmed your booking.
