Just make sure you have the Linux driver for your external DAC first
so far below three should okay
-KingRex UD384 async-USB DAC
-M2TECH hiFace EVO
-Mytek Stereo192-DSD-DAC should be able to connect using FireWire




The installation is very easy, all done by user interface, you only have to call command prompt once to type in a simple command...

-to install using USB disk without burning the iso to disc, download the Universal USB installer, details here-

go to the above address and search for <Installing the ISO to a USB stick> in your browser, and then follow the steps there (of course use the downloaded Linux iso image)

-I will delete all partitions on my drive for easy installation, press the <Edit partitions> to open another window, use the #2 button from the top toolbar to delete, then use the last button to apply the delete action. To create, use the #1 button, use the default values, then use the last button to apply the create action. When done, press the <x> on the top right-most corner of the Edit partition window to close it

我自己鐘意Voyage MPD 多一點。
不過 AP Linux 可以給不熟悉Command line 的 user 多一個選擇也是好的。

先說明, 我唔係針對樓上, 但每次當我見到有人講 HI-FI 野都總會有人問:
"How is XXX compared to YYY?"
我忽然想舒發下...

問下用家心得無可厚非, 但我感覺上好多人問以上問題只係因為想"快脆"知道邊個(XXX 定 YYY)較好. 試問, 如果個 POST 係講XXX, 唔通樓主答你: 係YYY好好多. 會唔會有點唔會常理呢?
我唔係話唔應該問, 不過, 若果XXX 同YYY 都唔使錢, 或者唔使好多錢就可以買到, 或借到, 或DOWNLOAD到, 咁, 只係花些時間, 自己去試試, 自己去比較, 是否來得更有意義? 我相信, "做任何事, 過程比結果更有意思, 更值得回味, 更深刻"

玩HI-FI (唔計聽音樂), 包括:
1. 買或換 HI-FI
2. 聽同試 HI-FI
3. 談論 HI-FI

"試" 其實係樂趣之一, 如果不肯花時間去"試", 其實係小左一份樂趣.

喜歡Voyage MPD 的原因是覺得它能夠在簡約，方便，靈活，和音效中取得一個平衡。

其實我係試過AP-Linux，jack audio output， audicious & deadbeef之後先問以上問題的
因為以上setting令我對Linux既聲音非常失望，所以先想知其它Linux 會唔會有更好既效果，值得我再去花時間去試去學
