看Spec 真的不錯，不過假如全套買要美金三萬四。
MSB 早年是走中等價錢路線，這一次進軍頂尖系統門檻，要看功力了。

在 budget is no objection 前題下，暫時似乎 DCS 穩座龍頭，不過要有地方去擺呢4件DCS磚頭 喺香港都吾容易。
至於老二個位就競争劇烈囉, MSB 當屬大熱之一。小弟卻比較喜歡Emmlabs 頂班transport +DAC ，白淨靚仔又音樂演譯能力極高强，而且兩件頭西裝容易擺放嘛!

師兄啲佳句眞係無得頂
不過我個人比較喜歡MSB，不過EmmLab先有啲較大眾化嘅機種，MSB一去就DAC lV Plus，就連Platinum板加Power Base，最基本都七皮過外。

MSB 又「好彩」不啱我口味，免得我破大財！

msb 的新版是比舊的靜了好多.  但我比較不喜歡的是新的MSB dac iv plus 的 ProI2S (network interface),  與舊的 MSB Network 不兼容.. 連不上 MSB 的DATA IV 與UMT transport, 應該兩者都有.  不用買optional interfance card

I wonder if remove the 4 metal feet from the MSB Diamond+ DAC and use 4 Harmonix TU-666M tuning feet instead, what will happen ...

Did you mean the Data Transport IV and UMT can only connect to MSB network instead of I2S which will only be for UMT Plus and Signature Data CD IV ?

Yes, the original 4 feet/spikes of MSB IV series dac give mediocre sound.
Ths under-surface of the dac is flat so we can use any better footers that we like.

The old MSB Network is unidirectional but the new ProI2S Network is bidirectional.
Both the old or new network connections are better than other digital connection formats.
If pairing the Data4 or UMT ( that have only the old network onboard) with the new IV Plus dac, an optional network card has to be installed on the IV Plus dac.
Certainly, IV Plus dac is 100% compatible with the coming UMT Plus.

DAC IV Plus works seamlessly with UMT + and DATA IV signature as all of them got ProI2S interface slot,  but DAC IVPlus need to install ProI2S card to work with OLD DATA IV (the one I have ) as data iv got MSB Network output only.

of course,  I tried the DATA IV with DAC IV Plus through coaxial and AES channel ,  it got NO problem for 16/44.1 up to 24/192 data.  but you want to use MSB own interface if you play with MSB.  the data ,data clock signal and word clock sync signal send between transport and DAC is in parallel manner and will not interfere with each other and not in series like coaxial.

so , it got  MORE detail normally for MSB DAC with MSB transport.

tried your spike!  I am not using MSB spike also  ,  I am using third party spike also and sound better.  .... should got better sound I believe with the one your suggested.

As I was under the impression that the Signature Dac IV Plus comes with Pro I2S input instead of MSB network input, if I am going to use Data Transport (same as what you got) will it work with Pro I2S or I have to install MSB network ? This is what I got confused.
Looking forward to your advice.

yes, all DAC IV plus (no matter which version) come with ProI2S input,  for communicate with DATA IV ,  need to install MSB Network in the DAC IV Plus for communication in perfect manner.  

for communicating with UMT plus,  no need to add anything.
