Will u turn off your Power amp?

Hi,

Just bought a Mark 532H power amp. The power consumption is that:

Power consumption at 1/8 power: 3W standby, 85W idle, 475W driven, 4A current draw.

if you believe..3W standby , which 0.0136 A current passing through  the part of circuit and will make a positive different....- then keep it on

if within short period of time..u always need to on off after warm up... , then keep it on....

Seriously.. turn it off..i u know u are not going to use it for more than 2 hours.., i suppose 532H need 20 mins to warm up
unless u really believe that 0.0136A shall make the different for the whole listening session , it does has some logic behind..

My opinion:

Turn off when not using, overheating the transitors will shorten the lifespan of your amplifier.

Turn on 20-30min beforehand, is usually good enough. (膽機就一小時)
