TEAC UD-501

I got the TEAC UD-501 last night, tried PCM from Mac using Amarra and CD using optical connection from my blu-ray player. The improvement on CD is significant, my wife said the sound is more 3D and I say that's more dynamic. Still looking for some DSD files to try. But the MD-10 can retire. I will say this is worth to invest on this DAC for such improvement.

I got one @ WED. Playing some DSD file and my wife also feel that more 3D than before she listened with same DSD file (using DSD --> PCM --> Linn Majik).

I think UD-501 should beat down your Musiland easily just like a finger push.

For free DSD file you can find it through the web, search post in here or google it.

覺唔佢唔夠班既.... 改OP-AMP.... 再唔夠既改電源....
改晒後應該無乜邊部DAC 埋到身架啦

Use the Windows 7 / 8 (8 is better) and Teac native player with memory play DSD native option is a must try method.

Alternative is using cubox + MPD, you can refer obee's cubox tutorial for details. Also good performance on both PCM an DSD playback.

For modding.....you may consider. I should do it later.

You can use audiogate to convert any audio format (e.g. AIFF, FLAC, WAV) to DSD format.

無錯.... 升到上DSD5.6M 比CD 密度高好多
唔好再同我講44.1 升無作用...... 耳聽為實, 來過我度聽既都証明到
