actually I think it's because if your source of power is relatively clean, the impact of Qv2 would not be as material as using in a dirty source.
and that's perhaps one of the reasons why nordost basically plugs in all spare sockets on the distribution block with Qv2 in hifi shows, because the power supply there is very dirty.
