美國空運左 SONY 個 4K盒仔FMP-X1，完全出唔到畫面，因為:

1) 要先在美國當地網上登記(問題不大，可能VPN解決到)，最大問題係...

2) 只對應SONY美版的4K TV.....

咁就乜都冇測試過就完了.....

網上登記叫師傅on site換HDMI input #4 HDCP 2.2配件;
人手call Sony開通(好似裝BB);
因為兩者縛死, 要兩件一齊ship to HK

Q:  Sony recently announced the FMP-X1 4K media player – how come it won’t work with my VPL-VW1000ES 4K home projector?

A:  The VPL-VW1000ES projector was designed and built over two years ago based on the industry standards in existence at that time. Still cutting edge, the VPL-VW1000ES displays both unsecured 4K video and upscales HD video to produce an amazing image.

The new Sony FMP-X1 4K Ultra HD media player is the only device that provides native 4K feature films and TV programming to customers, and uses the latest industry standards to deliver content securely. While our newest 4K Ultra HD televisions incorporate new technologies, earlier products such as the VPL-VW1000ES require an update.


Q:  How come the new FMP-X1 4K media player doesn’t work with the XBR-84X900?

A:  Our 84X900 4K Ultra HD TV customers already have a 4K media server that includes the very same content that is on the FMP-X1 4K Ultra HD media player. Now, when we delivered that 4K viewing solution last fall – as another world’s first in 4K – we spoke to offering an upgrade path at a later date.


Q:  I just bought an XBR-X900A – why do I have to have someone come to ‘activate’ it?

A:  The Premium Service Activation will ensure compatibility of new XBR-X900A televisions with the FMP-X1 4K Media Player, and also safeguards the access to its content. In appreciation of the early adopters who wish to enjoy the true 4K Ultra HD experience, Sony will send an authorized technician for in-home service to qualifying 4K TVs free of charge. This will expand the capability of your TV to ensure compatibility with the 4K Ultra HD Media Player, and will take less time than it would take for AAA to come and change a flat tire on your car. This service activation applies to a limited number of 55 and 65X900A TVs; to determine if your TV qualifies check http://www.4kactivation.com or call 1-855-476-6945.


Q:  Why won’t the FMP-X1 4K media player work with 4K Ultra HD TVs from other manufacturers?

A:  Sony is more than an electronics innovator. We are leaders in 4K entertainment from production, through distribution, all the way to cinemas and into the living room. A major benefit and differentiator of buying a Sony 4K television is access to true 4K content thanks to our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Network Entertainment. When Video Unlimited 4K launches this summer, it will only be available on Sony 4K Ultra HD devices. Since one of the main uses for the FMP-X1 is to store and playback content from Video Unlimited 4K, there is currently no need for compatibility with other manufactures’ TVs.
