This issue bothering me for quite sometimes, especially for most of japanese made cable!

Finally I understood how to convert and I think you are right on the calculation, so is in between 9 and 10 AWG!

Cross sectio area = Pi x r x r = 3.1416 x 0.45/2 x 0.45/2 = 5.5565 sq mm.

Matching with the conversion chart, it is sightly thicker than AWG10 [5.26 sq mm].

r=線的半徑

計出線的總橫切面積，才能轉換awg
