Many competitors for such price range....Richcom hasn't confident to "push" it in HK therefore? Maybe more users for its lower models anyway, eg RF52, 62 etc just cost several thousands...and for movie purpose(plus not high-demand music playing)...

i am also aiming for a pair of speaker in that price range too, proac d18 is on the top of the list and second will probably be a pmc. i will have to audio them soon.
I am using a full set (slightly above entry level) Klipsch for the 5.1, they are ok for me because i am not a good auditor at all. but $38.5k..... i would go for a pair of PMC maybe as PMC seems more expensive than d18. tried d18 once, i like it.
i went to mk last week and saw a pair of proac of studio 130 asking for slightly above $16k iirc, and the displayed unit just $13.5k. it looks almost identical to d18 from my tigress' eyes and she is not familiar with the model number, so i will probably go for a d18 and tell her they are the pair she saw (studio 130) in the shop as i didn't show her d18 at all apart from the website. and she likes the ebony too.
$38:5k is list price, i think its actual selling price should near usd eqv 3200. wonder whether hifi galleries at tst has demo or not, still worth listening...horn type speakers do hv its advantage.
proac has many audiophile fans so far, its sound always attractive...d18's grade is higher than studio 130 and u seem made a smart move, haha
Horn type speaker price around $20k or above should demo somewhat advantage of horn, such as good texture of music instruments, open and wider 3d soundstage etc also gd in vocal. Yours seem not reach this std, that why I want to meet RF7II...BTW another cheaper Klipsch Heresy III(esp old alnico ver), price abt $ 1x k(?), can show u a classic horn type character, however its bass isn't deep enough anyway...
