1. Krell ARES: ensures the best possible performance by analyzing all the speakers by location, phase, and distance to determine the best frequency, delay, and more. It also incorporates the acoustics of the room to determine unique EQ curves for each of the 7.1 output channels.
2. Intelligent HDMI switching provides the fastest signal recognition possible. All source inputs are active so source, channel, video resolution, and audio format changes are instantaneous.
3. ARC allows Smart TVs with streaming capability the ability to stream audio to the processor, perfect for when watching Netflix or listening to Pandora.
Integrator Benefit
The Foundation has Ethernet control, RS-232, 4 12v triggers, and RC-5. From the front panel or web tablet, setup defines video, audio, and triggers, for all devices based on user preference. Two HDMI outputs pass signal without any video processing, ensuring bit-for-bit accuracy of the signal. It decodes all Dolby and DTS audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio. Firmware updates are sent directly from the Krell servers eliminating the need to send a technician to a customer’s home. Modular in design, A 4K upgrade is in development and will be available to all current Foundation owners.
