Tried research on theory of 地盒.
Looked into Ground Controlling Device and the very famous tweaks Ground Loop Tweak by BudP (Bud Purvine)

Ordered product from Audio Sensitivity with very good outcome.

To me, the effect of these tweaks mostly probably trying to make circuit ground more stable. If the circuit ground is polluted, it is going to impact the performance of various parts of the circuits as they all reference to the same ground.
地盒 is not real earth ground. It is like a large capacitor with leakage.
Ground Loop Tweak is like an antenna which may dissipate some noise as well.
My research was to use a large capacitor to simulate 地盒. Just connect one side of the capacitor. Given that large capacitors have polarity, we connect multiple capacitors, 50% to positive lead, 50% to negative lead. The results were very encouraging. Tried some capacitors, large capacitance is more important than speed.
Happen that there was a customer visit on Saturday, I showed him and it is proven working with independent audition.
Later, I tried having both "Ground Capacitor" + "Ground Loop" tweaks, they work well together and they are now standard part of my showroom configuration. |
