Tried research on theory of 地盒.

Looked into Ground Controlling Device and the very famous tweaks Ground Loop Tweak by BudP (Bud Purvine)

Ordered product from Audio Sensitivity with very good outcome.

To me, the effect of these tweaks mostly probably trying to make circuit ground more stable.  If the circuit ground is polluted, it is going to impact the performance of various parts of the circuits as they all reference to the same ground.

地盒 is not real earth ground.  It is like a large capacitor with leakage.
Ground Loop Tweak is like an antenna which may dissipate some noise as well.

My research was to use a large capacitor to simulate 地盒.  Just connect one side of the capacitor.  Given that large capacitors have polarity, we connect multiple capacitors, 50% to positive lead, 50% to negative lead. The results were very encouraging.  Tried some capacitors, large capacitance is more important than speed.

Happen that there was a customer visit on Saturday, I showed him and it is proven working with independent audition.

Later, I tried having both "Ground Capacitor" + "Ground Loop" tweaks, they work well together and they are now standard part of my showroom configuration.

I'd like to know more about proper grounding, especially how to achieve that in aprtment environment

Please note that the Circuit Ground Stability is different from AC grounding.  AC grounding is essential and always needed for safety.  For Hifi, AC will be converted to DC to power the circuit board.  The circuit board has a ground reference.  I'm talking about that circuit ground reference stability in this post.

For AC power noise and ground noise, I have a different solution "OnFilter" (an industrial AC noise filter which cover ground noise).  See this post.

I'm using the "OnFilter" as well as 2 Circuit Ground Stability tweaks as mentioned in this post.

Only the ground is connected to the capacitors . The choice of capacitor will influence the sound .

A customer feedback of the high low frequency was impacted with this tweak .  We found this tweak not good for amp . Useful for source only . I unplug it from my amp.

So now I have a spare one if some Ching want to compare it with ground box and report the outcome .  I want to understand more about ground tweak with help from Ching . Any owner of ground box want to help?
