Connection cable for new gear

To all high hand Cfu,

I have just upgraded my gear and find it is significant improvement in sound quality, stage and 3D, but the bass is a bit too much and the figure texture is not so clear. I think it may relate to the interconnection cable. I wish all high hand Cfu here can share your experience to introduce some high C/P value cable for me.. Thanks

My gear is as follow :-

CD Player      : Audio Aero Prestige Signature SACD (ASR power cord)
Pre AMP        : AudioNet Pre 1 G3 (DIY power cord)
CD to Pre      : Voodoo velocity XLR
Power AMP    : SimAudio Moon W8 (DIY power cord)
Pre to Power : Hobby Lab XLR
Speaker       : Audio Physic Avanti
Speaker cable:  Fantastic ( very old Flag ship model)

I understand all these cable should changed. Please advise for changes. ...Thanks

Since I am a seller, I can't suggest any brands or models directly, but suggest you change your Hobby Labs to something smooth and analytic, new cable use for CD to Pre, swap your Voodoo for Pre to Power.

Next (after fully burn-in the coming new cable) maybe your DIY power cord.

Fantastic is great, you can still keep it.

Yes, also need to depend on your budget. For black cat, you may refer to the several threads talking about it recently, i agree with wilmar ching you may need a more analytical interconnect

Speaker position and room acoustics are even more important!
Did you upgrade all the gears including the speakers?

CHing, all my listed equipment are new replaced from CD, pre , power and speaker are swapped within one month.  I am in trouble now.

Old gear :
Accustic Art CDplayer 1 mkII -- > JR Synergy IIi -- > JR model 10 -- > Audio Physic Temp 25

New gear :
AudioAero Prestige Signature SACD -- > AudioNet Pre 1 G3 -- > SimAudio Moon W8   -- > Audio Physic Avanti.

I have to say most of the area improved, except bass in too much (booming) and the image is too big without clear figure.

我前排有都聲音太恒的問題, 高音太尖, 低音又太多.
我建議你先利用手上的電源線調整下位置先, 可能有意想不到的驚喜.

另外調教下避穩, 是不是落錯左了釘, 或位置不對.

Thanks for advise. I will try to reallocate the power cord. All my gear are wearing spike and spike plate already.

只用—條普通跟机電源線放在後級，再張CD机輸出电平降低2至3db，Boom 效果改善很多。

I think I am putting the stone to hit my foot. All the trouble start from replacing the Speaker, then CD player, pre, then power. Now is IC, PC.. non stop trouble. Really killing me. I have just only wanted to listen to the music can simulate the real situation.

  hifi就係咁架啦, 有時多隻新野多隻鬼, 之前的setting要重新set過.
我都係因為換隻dac, 跟住所有電線, 插位, 避震都要重新排過.
