Does it mean without any FW update players like K05 and K07 can now play DSD files through USB ? That would be quite awesome!

Kind of confusing, the webpage says only D1 can play DSD through USB.

yes, but I also saw the same page says:

"-The Grandioso D1 is the only model with which DSD file playback is possible (as of May 2014)."

so can ching you confirm that your 03 can now play DSD files through USB with this new software?

Probably right, this new software running on Windows or Mac, can interface with all the mentioned models, but PCM data only except D1

It seems to be the case but since the webpage was so poorly 'translated', more information is needed.

ching have you tried the software on your 03?  especially for DSD files since the original USB DAC in spec did not support that if I am not mistaken?

I have tried it, K03 do not support DSD files.
