Not too many 2nd hand shop there, only a few, most of them are selling brand new products.
I also came across some brands which seldomly been seen in Hong Kong, happy hunting!

There is a shop call "Audio Note" SG which have some 2nd equipment to sell (you can check from their website)...
Besides, there is 2 to 3 2nd shop but I don't see people are in the shops normally which I guess they mainly focus to post equipment at echoloft first...
Long long time ago (10+), I bought my Van Den Hul Magnum in Sim Lim Square which was around 20-30% cheaper than HK, more like Sham Shui Po for DIYer. Not sure how there looks like now though...
Most of the 2nd hand hifi store now are located in remote towns like Bedok, Woodlands due to the high rent in CBD. They usually prefer to do business in forum like
Echoloft or xtremeplace.... Etc.
SimLim is now focused on mobile and computer products. There are a few shops which sell PA / pro audio stuff. The Burlington square which located right opposite to Sim Lim, have a few shops which sell vinyl and tubes / tube amp.
