Amarra symphony 3.0 & IRC開箱

首先搬番啱之前個主題先.
本身用緊Amarra2.6, sonic studio雖然多次以優惠價吸引upgrade上Amarra symphony IRC, 但都係較貴而無upgrade, 7月份呢次大優惠比原Amarra客戶只需29.9USD就可以upgrade 上3.0(原價要成499USD!)，咁啱又比我見到（平時都無乜留意佢嘅promo),二話不說比錢，再網上訂埋隻IRC.全部唔使$900又有新野玩.期待等開箱

I started using IRC with  Amarra from 2.6 version.  Be advised that the recommended flat filter is not necessary the best for sound quality. You need to spend more time to fine tune the filter curve to suit your personal taste.  Good luck.

In my case, I found there was always a little too much bass in my home and that is the reason why I update to IRC version.  After measurement, it showed there was around +12db around 60hz.   A default flat filter  was generated as recommended then.  When I listened to the music with IRC on, yes, the bass reduced but at the same time I found the details in the mid and high was lost.  After a few listening session,  I stopped using the IRC.

After searching over the web, I found there was suggestion to only deal with the bass section.  After a lot of trial and error, I settled on +4 db at 60hz and and copy the original curve in mid and high section. Bingo.  I solved the bass problem and retain the original sound signature of my system.

During the trials, I found +1 or 2db around 1Khz would make the vocal more up front.
