Glad to know that you recommend this version issued by the French Zig Zag Territories. I haven't got this but I have their Ravel Bolero using period instruments to perform. This smallish French label is under the umbrella of the Outhere Music which have many exciting CDs and they sound good too if you are a discerning listener.

La Passione: Haydn & Gluck not a very familiar piece of music. Personally prefer mid-sized orchestra and Baroque music. Take a look at the trailer with the conductor explaining the music and a few clips. The CD is issued by Alpha, a French label, similar to Zig Zag Territories under the umbrella of Outhere Music. Alpha's recording quality and music (maybe less well known) never disappoint. Interested could buy from overseas, local dealer Shun Cheong 要乜冇乜, I bet they don't have stock only you order but need to wait for decades.

Bizet - L' Arlésienne Orchestral Suites. French music issued by French label NAIVE, performed by French conductor and French orchestra with period musical instrument, could it be wrong?
