黑麻石 is like a mirror which reflect vibration. Your equipment (e.g. transformer inside equipment will have generate vibration) vibration may be reflected back and may cause more problem.
The use of solid wood with nature fibre will help diffuse the vibration (and absorb some) which good in many case.
Now I'm using magnetic flow "legs" which is just the opposite to stones. It has very little reflection (reactance). It is not transmitting much vibration. Just a small resistance to decay & dissipate vibration energy.
I have used all of the above. And in my case, I'm now using wood and magnetic flowing legs and spike in combination.
I don't think there is one solution fits all. Just need to try and find out what works for your particular environment.
