Ripping Blu Ray & Software to manage Video Library

Hi all,

I am totally ignorant in AV but I am thinking to rip my Blu Ray collections so that I can easily access them later.  May I ask what is a good ripping software if I am using Mac & what program I should use to manage the playback later?  Is there something like how I can manage CAS?

Hi C hing,

Understand but I haven't been using Windows for many years and it will be a nightmare for me.  Wondering if I can simply use Apple TV to manage the video library?

Thank you.  That is a ripping software or Library management software?  Support Mac?

You may build yourself a Vortexbox with could rip Blu-ray, DVD and CD automatically and serve as a Nas.

我都想用mac做management，暫時仲未搵到好過fabDVD + Powerdvd

You could use an old PC and install new OS, basically that's it.
I built a fanless PC myself and very happy with it.

It could play music if connect to a DAC. However, it also serves as a NAS so your Mac/Blu-ray player can access it thru a router.

This is a very interesting products and totally fits my needs.  However, when I go thru the dealer list, seems only dealer in Asia located in Philippines.  Do you have any more information if I can learn more about it locally in HK?

Thank you C hing, so after sales support will be an issue.  Let me try to search if there is any review of the product.

It seems the product can rip movie bit by bit but doesn't mention if it can decrypt. You hardly play the movie from the NAS in forms of iso/BDMV files without appropriate decryption.

Seems it has its own hardware player but if there is no dealer in HK, after sales service may be an issue.
