A world-renowned violinist is born every 100 years, a Hassid every 200 years.

這是小提琴大師克萊斯勒生前在弗萊什家中聽到這位世紀奇才演奏後所說出的一段話，只不過老天爺卻不願讓他在世上久留，何其不忍地只給他不到「二十七」年的生命。

雖然留下八首小品類的錄音，但至今仍令許多樂迷婉惜，他極為短促的一生及所留給世人的遺憾，在所有二十世紀的小提琴巨匠中，應無人能比。

這並不是鄭延益老師的全部文章, 很多文章都沒有收進這部書的。當然, 絕對推薦的好書!
