Loudspeaker vibration

Just for discussion. For the larger floor standing loudspeakers, is it useful or necessary to have some sort of anti-vibration "board" placed on the floor under the speakers' spikes to prevent transmission of bass vibration from the spk.to the floor ? Will a piece if thick carpet under the speakers be good enough ? Ching please share your experience. Thanks.

    以前聽過人講, 喇叭底下放毯唔太好, 如果木地板,又唔怕整花地板,直接用釘放上地板聽講最好, 不過我無試過...用linn skeet 做墊.
另外,不同的墊對音色影響都相當大.

可否分享吓其他釘墊嘅心得

以下為用在小弟套 cheap嘢 上 的個人感受:

Acoustic Revive 銅墊 - 高及中圓潤, 中低厚暖
Sound Care Super spkies - 中性而帶點點霧氣, 但走鬼檔一流
Harmonic 900 - 聲音華麗, 歌者中氣十足, 中低厚暖有力
Taoc PTS-F - 壓迫感太大的組合才合用
FE墊 - 全頻平順而自然
1" 花梨木 - 中頻較厚而兩極申延不足
FE Ceraball - 高, 中清爽秀麗, 低頻線條清晰而不帶多如脂肪
(輕身喇叭 才合用)

Thanks Ching. How about putting a granite board on the wooden floor under the speaker,or, try using those big Sound Mechanics Performance wooden board as base?
